sorry to those who requested art trades- my scanner bit the dust, and I can't post the sketches right now. the good news is, I'll finally get my financial aid check sometime next week, probably monday or tuesday, and I'll have the money to get a new scanner then. So, hopefully, everyone (even those who asked for fanfiction) should get my half of the trade by next friday or so.

and on a random note, while I was cleaning, I found my box of foreign and collector currency, and decided to post what I have for lulz, in no particular order:

one 10 Peso bill from the Dominican Republic, 1988 issue

four 1 peso coins from the Dominican Republic, two 1991 issue, two 1992 issue

one 1 penny coin from Britain(?) 1992 issue

two 2 Pence coins from Britain, 1971 and 1980 issue

one 5 pence coin, from Britain, 1990 issue

one 10 pence coin, from Britain, 2000 issue

one 20 pence coin, from Britain, 1993 issue

one 100 Francs coin, from the French Republic, 1955 issue

one 5 Eire coin, from Ireland, 1993 issue

one coin of unknown worth, from the Panama Republic, 1973 issue

one 20 cent coin from Bermuda(?) 1993 issue

two 1 dollar coins from Canada, 1988, 1989 issue

two 25 cent coins from Canada,1989 and 2006 issue

two 10 cent coins from Canada, 1994 and 2006 issue

four 1 cent coins from Canada, 1989, 1995, 2003, 2004 issue

three 1 dollar Sacajawea coins, from the USA, 2000 issue

one 1 dollar Susan B. Anthony coin, from the USA, 1979 issue

two half-dollar coins from the USA, 1995 and 1776-1976 bicentennial issue

one 1 cent Wheat Penny, from the USA, 1950 issue

one 10 centavos coin from Mexico, 1976 issue

one 1 pesata coin from Spain, 1987 issue

one 100 yen coin from Japan, issue date unknown.

twelve 10 yen coins from Japan, issue date unknown (some have characters on the back, which include the characters for the numbers 5-10-2, or 4-10-3, or 4-10, and so on. if anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate the help)

four 1 yen coins from Japan, issue dates unknown

and lastly, one arabic coin I can't identify. It certainly has Arabic written on it, around the man's profile on the front, and the back has a quatri-centenial(?) of 1407-1987, more Arabic, the number 1, and a crest of two lions on either side of a royal crown over the rising sun, over a five pointed star, over a banner with more Arabic on it.

I have more lying around somewhere (such as about four marks worth of German pfennigs), but are currently lost in my mess of an apartment.

Oh well. I hope this was mildly entertaining. But hey- accurate information on the unidentified coins will get you a free sketch!
