and on a random note, while I was cleaning, I found my box of foreign and collector currency, and decided to post what I have for lulz, in no particular order:

one 10 centavos coin from Mexico, 1976 issue
one 1 pesata coin from Spain, 1987 issue
one 100 yen coin from Japan, issue date unknown.
twelve 10 yen coins from Japan, issue date unknown (some have characters on the back, which include the characters for the numbers 5-10-2, or 4-10-3, or 4-10, and so on. if anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate the help)
four 1 yen coins from Japan, issue dates unknown
and lastly, one arabic coin I can't identify. It certainly has Arabic written on it, around the man's profile on the front, and the back has a quatri-centenial(?) of 1407-1987, more Arabic, the number 1, and a crest of two lions on either side of a royal crown over the rising sun, over a five pointed star, over a banner with more Arabic on it.
I have more lying around somewhere (such as about four marks worth of German pfennigs), but are currently lost in my mess of an apartment.
Oh well. I hope this was mildly entertaining. But hey- accurate information on the unidentified coins will get you a free sketch!
